NFL Week 14 Thursday/Sunday Recap: Saints Back on Top

Wednesday, 12 December 2018 / Published in Bookie Tips

The New Orleans Saints got back on the winning track while the Dallas Cowboys went up 2 games over the rival Philadelphia Eagles. Oh, yes, there was also a Miami Miracle in Week 14.

Check out a recap of everything that happened from Thursday to Sunday in NFL Week 14. Then, read about how per head agents could have used their pay per head software to manage betting.

Thursday, Dec. 6

Jacksonville Jaguars 9 at Tennessee Titans 30 – The Jaguars have a terrible rush defense. Titans fed big running back Derrick Henry. Henry rushed for 4 touchdowns. One TD went for 99 yards.

Sunday, Dec. 9

Atlanta Falcons 20 at Green Bay Packers 34 – Maybe, Mike McCarthy was the problem. Without McCarthy on the sidelines, the Packers, especially Aaron Rodgers, played out of their minds. They easily dominated the Falcons’ defense.

New York Giants 40 at Washington Redskins 16 – The real disappointment is how Washington let the Giants pummel them with 40 points. Up until this game, the Redskins’ defense had been respectable.

Baltimore Ravens 24 at Kansas City Chiefs 27 – The Chiefs were lucky to pull out an overtime win. Baltimore had Kansas City on the ropes. Chiefs’ can stop anybody from moving the football.

New Orleans Saints 28 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers 14 – Tampa Bay dominated the second half, but the lethargic Saints picked it up big time after Taysom Hill blocked a punt that led to a touchdown. The Saints are back. They’re also 10-3 ATS, making them the top team in the league against the spread.

Indianapolis Colts 24 at Houston Texans 21 – Texans came back down to earth because they couldn’t contain Andrew Luck while their offense suddenly got stuck in the mud. Colts are a serious playoff contender now.

Carolina Panthers 20 at Cleveland Browns 26 – Carolina lost it’s fifth straight. Too bad for the Panthers 2-of-3 are versus the rival New Orleans Saints. This is turning into a forgettable season for former MVP Cam Newton.

New York Jets 27 at Buffalo Bills 23 – In a battle between two rookie quarterbacks, the Jets Sam Darnold outdueled Buffalo’s Josh Allen. Both played well, though, which should give their fans hope for the future.

New England Patriots 33 at Miami Dolphins 34 – The Patriots had the game won until the aforementioned Miami Miracle. That led to a Dolphins victory straight up, which could have hurt plenty of sportsbooks.

Cincinnati Bengals 21 at L.A. Chargers 26 – L.A. continues to win football games even though they didn’t look all that impressive on Sunday. The Chargers were favored by around 15 points. Hey, a win’s a win, right?

Denver Broncos 14 at San Francisco 49ers 20 – Denver had won 3 in a row. So, what happens? They lose straight up to one of the worst teams in the NFL. So much for a playoff spot.

Detroit Lions 17 at Arizona Cardinals 3 – Detroit finally got a chance to play a team that has no shot at the postseason. The Lions outclassed Zona on Dec. 9.

Pittsburgh Steelers 21 at Oakland Raiders 24 – Pittsburgh lost its third straight on Sunday, this time to the terrible Oakland Raiders. What’s up with the Steelers? Maybe, they’re not that good.

Philadelphia Eagles 23 at Dallas Cowboys 29 – It took overtime, but Dallas did gain a two game edge over the Eagles in the NFC East Division. Philly’s chances of making the playoffs aren’t good while the Cowboys should be tough to beat in the postseason.

L.A. Rams at Chicago Bears – Everyone should have seen this coming. The Bears are great at home while the Rams have barely beaten teams. L.A. could fall further after losing their second game of the season.

Online bookies should have used their layoff accounts on: Tennessee Titans, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Detroit Lions

Bookie agents should have set max money line betting limits on: Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders

Things to Keep in Mind to Manage NFL Week 15 Betting

KC’s favored by 3.5 over the L.A. Chargers. The Chargers can win that game outright. Set max betting limits.

New Orleans should cover the -8 versus the Carolina Panthers even if the game takes place in Carolina. Use your layoff account on the Saints.

The Rams are favored by 8.5 against Philadelphia. L.A. has gone 2-7-1 ATS in their last 9. Shuttle the layoff account if Rams are over bet.
