NFL Divisional Playoffs

Saturday, Jan. 12

Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

The Colts have put together an extremely capable offensive line. Made up mostly of young players and rookies, the offensive line dominated the Houston Texans’ defensive line. This could be the reason 50% of sports bettors, so far, favor the Colts at +6.

Some pro players are going to pound the Indianapolis moneyline. The Colts will offer generous odds when moneylines are set this Wednesday. Don’t be one of those per head agents who didn’t think about setting max betting limits on Indianapolis to pull off a second straight victory.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also use your layoff accounts. Make sure to do that as well even if the Chiefs are the team over bet in your sportsbook.

Dallas Cowboys at L.A. Rams

Towards the end of the regular season, the Rams’ offense started having serious problems. Quarterback Jared Goff didn’t make great decisions. Many of his passes appeared to flutter aimlessly. Goff and the Rams turned it on in the impressive victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

However, the Dallas Cowboys aren’t the San Francisco 49ers. Dallas’ defense was on point in the 24-22 wildcard game win over Seattle. The Boys stopped the top rushing attack in the NFL in their tracks. They continuously pressured Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson.

Dallas won’t just allow the Rams to beat them up. Not only that, L.A. gives up 122 rushing yards per game and Cowboys’ RB Ezekiel Elliott led the league in rushing this season.

The Rams are a horrible team against the spread. If there’s any NFL Playoff game to consider not using the layoff account, it’s this one if the Rams are over played. Dallas should keep this closer than 7 points.

Sunday, Jan. 13

L.A. Chargers at New England Patriots

There’s something about the Los Angeles Chargers that makes them awfully difficult to look past to at least cover the spread on Sunday. The Chargers are 4.5 dogs and it’s almost impossible to beat the Patriots on the road, but Los Angeles proved it can go to a hostile environment, Baltimore, and win a football game as an underdog.

One thing to note is how the Chargers’ defense had some trouble in the second half. Tom Brady could jump all over the Bolts in the first quarter. Definitely set max betting limits on the Chargers, but also make sure to use your layoff account if either team’s over bet.

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints

The Saints could romp all over the Eagles like they did earlier in the season. The real thing to watch for is how Nick Foles handles the Saints’ rush. He did a good job burning the Bears when they rushed him. If he burns the Saints, the Eagles could win. If he can’t, the Saints could dominate Philadelphia.

New Orleans is favored by 8.5. Most players are all over the Eagles. That could change. Use the layoff account and set max betting limits.

On another note, it’s important to shut off Super Bowl 53 futures betting an hour before the Colts and Chiefs kick it off. Someone will jump on the Saints odds if they dominate the Eagles, or the Patriots if they dominate the Chargers.
